Function description maritime vacancy Site Technician

Tasks:

Day to day tasks:

Carry out day to day instructions from the Deputy Site & Commissioning Project ManagerAssist with the maintenance and re-fuelling of Offshore Substation and generatorsAssist with fuelling of vesselsUndertake technical inspections and reports, as requestedTo provide practical and/or technical assistance to the O&M and other members of the teamTo be available to attend call-outs in accordance with vessel movement and construction requirements, including weekends and evenings.  Safety:After appropriate training, to inspect all safety & fall arrest systems both on TP's and substationsTo comply with all safety instructions and to accept responsibility for own safety and the safety of others who may be affected by the work of the Site Technician.To identify potential risks in the work area and to report such risks promptly to the Deputy Site & Commissioning Project ManagerTo ensure a safe work environment exists for each task that is to be undertakenEnsure that RAMS are in place and take active part in their preparationEnsure PPE that is specific to the work to be carried out is worn, reporting any defective/worn/missing PPE immediately to their line manager Other: Clean off bird guano from offshore structuresAny other duties, as directed by Site Management that does not require any specialised training/certification

Relevant work experience within Wind and/or construction

Certificate Working at heights

Medical fit
