Marine Coordinators

4x experienced marine personnel, consisting of:

2x Senior Marine Coordinators (Minimum STCW II/I) and 2x Marine Coordinators.

Marine coordination will be required 24/7/365 with shift patterns of 12 hours on/off with one senior and one marine coordinator on site. It is envisaged that the personnel will work a 14 day on/14 day off rotation.  Marine coordinators should have experience of performing a similar role during the construction of windfarms. There is a requirement for the senior marine coordinators to have a minimum of STCW II/I qualifications. There is also an option for the provision of marine coordination during the operations phase i.e. from April 2020 and beyond. The marine coordination centre will be located at the base port, which is in the town of Lowestoft, the construction site, which  covers an area of approximately 300 km2 and is located 45 km south east of the base port. The Marine coordination will initially be required in a temporary office building before being transferred to the permanent Operation and Maintenance building.

Construction Period

The planned construction period is from April 2018 until April 2020, it is envisaged that the Marine Coordination team will be required on site mid Q1 2018, please note that these dates are provisional at this time.

Duties

The marine coordination personnel will be required to carry out, as a minimum, the following duties:

Marine Coordination

Vessel and personnel tracking

Coordinating helicopter operations

Managing the NOK and certification database

Assisting with the work permit system

Monitoring vessels approaching the site in conjunction with guard vessels

Managing any potential conflict of traffic movements

Participation in Emergency Response training and incidents

Managing vessel manifests

Site induction

Daily/weekly/monthly reporting as required
